The primary goal of this training is to provide faculty, staff, and volunteers a meaningful learning experience to foster a culture where diversity, inclusion, and respect for civil rights are a natural function of the organization. We want Alabama Extension to be known as a trusted community-based organization that models a commitment to diversity, multicultural understanding, and civil rights in our educational programming. To accomplish this goal, we strive to be an organization that provides its employees with the competencies and skills to engage under-represented groups.
