This course provides producers and Extension agents with a broad overview of forage production in Alabama and the Southeast and covers forage selection and establishment, pasture management, weed and insect management, soil fertility and nutrient management, hay production and storage, and forage needs of major livestock species in the region. This course was developed by Auburn University and the Alabama Cooperative Extension System and is funded by a grant from the Southern Extension Risk Management Education Center.
